First time I met Kara, I was sitting in a chair with my hair full of foils 🙂 Kara is one of the beautiful girls working at the salon where I get my hair done (not that anyone gets to see the beautiful job they do – I am usually in a pony tail while sweating with a newborn in 90F heat). During our first conversation I found out that she knew what she wanted, how she wanted and she was ready to get it done. Love clients like her!
But nothing is easily planned while you are pregnant. The originally set date for maternity session had to be canceled because little man decided to give his momma-to-be some trouble. It landed Kara in the hospital and then on full bed rest. When we were able to have a session, it was one of the most gorgeous days in January. It was sunny, no wind, and high 60F. After we finished, I told Kara to get back to bed and not to deliver the baby until maternity images are ready for her. Nope, two days later she was cradling her son.
For now, a few from our January maternity session. When mom to be is so gorgeous, photographer does not really know when to stop!
Just by mentioning a word “beach”, I got a lot of interest in those sessions. Therefore, some dates are already unavailable, and I will be sending a newsletter tomorrow with the rest of available dates. If you are interested in a 2012 Outerbanks beach session, look out for a newsletter – email me to get on the emailing list if you are not receiving the newsletter. Beach session spots are very limited.
Summer OUTDOOR NEWBORN SESSIONS
And I already have a few summer newborns I will be meeting outdoors for some summery hugs and snuggles. The sessions are geared roughly for May through September due dates. All outdoors newborn sessions will be photographed at evening hours only. Sessions will be shorter compared to regular full newborn sessions and yield about 20 unique images. We will concentrate on family ties and relationships with lots of hugging, kissing and snuggling with moms and dads as well as a few individual images of the baby alone. NOTE: regular newborn session are available year round as usual. If you would like more information about Outdoor Newborn Sessions, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or simply call 919-341-9294
