When last fall I received a phone call from Triangle Montessori Academy in Cary to photograph all the children for fundraiser, I admit I was a bit hesitant at first – so many children, so little time
It was definitely a challenging project for me, but oh, children were delightful! Happy, excited, talkative, full of energy and spunk, some were a bit shy and quiet. Normally, I spend about 15 minutes at the beginning of my sessions just getting to know a child, becoming their friend, making them feel comfortable with me, so we can capture the true essence of childhood. For preschool pictures we had only 5 minutes per child total – but I think we managed to bond and have a pretty good time.
I am very excited for you to share the images – I tried to capture natural smiles and seriousness, we played monsters and acted silly, sang and danced.
If you would like your preschool’s fundraiser to be my next project, please, contact me!
