Not a secret, I love newborns. I adore their freshness, pureness, innocence. I love watching their jerky moves and fragile bodies to curl back into fetus position. They just melt my heart. I also enjoy watching brand new parents who are absolutely smitten by this new life they’ve created together. It’s an amazing feeling to be invited into families at their most private and special moments.

I also love to team up with another great photographer and let the team work push us further, higher. It is always fun to have an extra set of hands and a mind that knows what I am about to say or do without me even saying it out loud. All the greatest newborn photographers work in teams, not that I am comparing Julie and I to any of them. But I definitely see the benefit of having a teammate. And as soon as we start thinking how newborns are getting easier for us to photograph, we get that ONE baby that tests our patience and push us to the limits. This time it was not one, but two that did it. Two beautiful baby boys, first set of twins on both side of the family and nobody knows how that happened. They were taking turns for sleeping, eating, crying, peeing.. But at the end, we had a wonderful session and images that parents will treasure forever.

Welcome to 2010! I hope you all had a great time with your families, and now getting back in a swing of things. My break was not much of a break since so many babies decided to enter this world in 2009, and not to wait till 2010. I will share a few of those sessions over the next few days.

Last year I got a lot of questions from you all about session details and how it all goes. Based on all of them, I created a FAQs section right here on my blog. The main website is also back on – I changed a few things around, check it out !

Here is a share of a beautiful newborn twin couple, they were born just before Thanksgiving. When I saw them together for the first time I almost teared up. It’s amazing how they are into each other – so tiny, and soft, and squishy, and just amazing.

It was an interesting morning, or I should say a whole day. I teamed up with a fellow photographer to tackle this shoot. Those beautiful baby boys were born 10weeks premature, and they just got home from NICU. It was a lot of hard work, but we had tons of fun. Those babies made us laugh!
